We've shared with you the baby shower, you've read about the testimony and have seen the maternity photo shoot....Here's what we've all been waiting for. It took 3 weeks for us to get time to finally post this blog.....thanks for your patience. While we are all adjusting, and catching up on sleep Ms Khloe has been growing and growing. She is such a cutie pie and her big brother Kolby can't get enough of her. He wants to touch, kiss and pat her on her bottom all day long. He simply loves his little sis Khloe or Khlo bell as we often refer to her. Here are a couple of pics of the little princess if you haven't had a chance to see her in person yet. Enjoy
Me and my sis Kiarra did my maternity photo shoot this past weekend and boy was it HOT! The sun was beating down on us as we traveled from location to location. This may have been the first time that we stopped shooting before we were really ready to. Can somebody say..Any day now!!!! lol Well here are a couple of shoots from the session we had Saturday. We had our last and final ultrasound this Wednesday. This pregnancy has truly been a blessing. Me and Garreth desired more children....We prayed and asked other to pray and believe God for a high risk FREE pregnancy. We had NO problems this time around! We are so thankful to be approaching our last weeks with no signs of pre-eclampsia, head aches, or swelling. God has definitely answered our prayers. I believed from the beginning that God would see us through this pregnancy and he did. He lead me to find many natural ways to prevent high blood pressure and insure that I have all the nutrients I needed. My advice....Don't let fear keep you from the blessings God has for you. This summer Kolby really has mom and dad running all around. We have a couple of pics of Kolby at the zoo and at his new found favorite location...Gymboree. I was so looking forward to Khloe's baby shower. I got a chance to see friends and clients in whom I haven't seen for over 8 months. We had so much fun talking and playin games. It seemed as if time just flew by. My favorite game was "Who can drink out of Princess Khloe's sippy cup the fastest". It was hilarious seeing everybody trying to chug a lug this juice down through a sippy cup. Antwon Graduates 8th grade!!!!!! After a year of cross country, basketball, volleyball, track, drama club and let's not forget HONOR ROLL each semester Antwon says good bye to his Middle school years!!!! I started my life in the Show Me State.I was raised with an older brother and soon had a younger sister.We lived close to both sets of grandparents.A fond memory that I recall is that we would call our grandparents (right before payday) and place our orders, usually for ice cream and donuts.They always delivered.My mom died unexpectedly during my early years.Our family later grew to include a new mother, two additional brothers and a sister.
Some interesting facts of the 50’s and 60’s…
~ Television had just been invented (most people listened to stories on the radio).
~ TV went off each night at midnight (the screen showed a bull’s eye and Indian).
~ Stamps were 3 cents.
~ A nickel would buy a bag full of candy.
~ As a teenager gas was 29 cents a gallon.
~ A Ford Mustang cost $1800.00
~ Believe it or not cell phones, microwaves and personal computers did not exist.
In college I met the love of my life, Rick as he was called.Love led to marriage and marriage led to three beautiful daughters, which led to three son-in-laws and four and ½ grandchildren.
I often think in song, so…
“When I look back over my life and I think things all over I can truly say that I’ve been blessed, I’ve got a testimony.”
Wow!60 years of life.
